GamingHerd is a community of trusted games. Therefore, it makes sense to have the community drive the moderation.

Herd Honor

• A numeric (integer) rating that starts from 0.
• Has no limits.
• Always publicly transparent.
• Positive feedback gives a +1.
• Negative feedback gives a -1.

Feedback

• You can only leave feedback during or after a lobby ends.
• Once a lobby ends, you are required to leave feedback for at least 1 person from the lobby in order to continue use of matchmaking, unless you are all friends.
• You can only leave feedback for a friend once, so make it count 😉.
• You can only leave feedback for the same person once in 24 hours.

Toxic DB

• Anyone that you report that ends with a “guilty” verdict will earn you +1 for your Herd Honor.
• However, making misleading or blatantly false reports could affect your Herd Honor or cause a ban.

Auto Moderation

• If your Herd Honor goes < -50, you will receive an automatic lifetime ban.
• If your Herd Honor goes negative, you will get 1 week from the start of going negative, to get your Herd Honor back to ≥ 0. Once back to 0 it all resets. If after a week you did not get back to ≥ 0, then you get a strike.
